“This recommendation is well overdue. I wanted to give a chance to all of those I have been working with since and get the benefit of hindsight. I found David extremely professional, balancing priorities, knowing when to use pragmatism over thoroughness, when to challenge or to comply. I have seen him in pressurised situations and he handled those, in my opinion, with flying colours while, at all time, ensuring the wellbeing of the team. I never found a fault in his judgement. He develops and expresses a clear vision of what needs to be done for success, yet will endorse alternatives provided they can be justified. For all these reasons, he is the professional that I certainly have most respect for and, in a career spanning 35 years, if I had to choose to be someone that I have worked closely with, then that would be David. I am thankful that my path crossed his. In my opinion, David is the greatest role model, especially but not exclusively, for any Enterprise Architect and so he is the one to beat.”
